Skateboarders want bowl back
The East Side Rec’s skateboarding bowl remains filled with dirt and growing weeds more than 1 1/2 years after the city filled it in, citing insurance liability and other concerns. The fact that the 8-foot deep bowl is inaccessible angers skateboarders and their advocates, some of who recently remade their case to local officials that the dirt should be removed.
